So where next for mobile working?

 

Well as it happens mobile working is advancing alongside some other important technology for social housing. The Internet of things being a buzz phrase to describe connected devices, will be key to providing key data on homes and people that will in turn feed our mobile working systems. This will eliminate further inefficient processes and offer quicker and better services for our customers and enable cost savings across our business.

 

The advancements in tech such as 3D printing, VR and air and ground based drones will then offer quicker response times, virtual services and save resources being wasted or misused.

 

Self service and channel shift is key as all of this technology moves forward, with mobile optimised websites and apps becoming more and more popular, the ability to provide bespoke self service information as a result of IOT and mobile working cannot be underestimated as a key factor in how our sector can grow.
